Fall Programs

Fall Programming is available for girls Grade 3-Grade 12. We are excited to offer three different programs in the Halton Community.

Mind+Body

Mind+Body was designed to support girls in accepting, appreciating and taking care of their bodies. There are four main components in this curriculum in order to accomplish this: Regular Physical Activity, Nutrition and Healthy Eating, Healthy Stress Management, and Positive Body Image.

-Grade 4-6 @ The Milton Hub with Orla Canning

Discovery Leadership

Girls and women in the community come together and celebrate their heritage as leaders.  Girls develop their own leadership skills through hands-on activities, role-plays and community exploration.  Girls begin to recognize their own leadership qualities and respect the leadership qualities of others.

Speakers bureau

Girls Inc. of Halton in collaboration with Plan Canada will be offering a Speakers Bureau. The Speakers Bureau provides an opportunity for young people across Canada, between the ages of 14-22, to be trained in public speaking and create positive change through the Because I am a Girl movement.

-Speakers Bureau members will attend once per month, on Wednesdays at 5:00 pm - 7:00pm
