Celebrating the Service of Claudia Scobie

2017 will be a great year of celebration nationally with Canada’s 150th anniversary and locally with Girls Inc. of Halton’s 15th year of service.  Our first event of the year will be the inaugural Girls Inc. of Halton Strong, Smart & Bold Icon Award dinner at Pasqualino, Milton, Sunday February 26, 2017.  The award will honour the contribution of Claudia Scobie, who has dedicated herself to positively impacting the lives of girls for over 24 years, first with Big Sisters Halton and later Girls Inc of. Halton.  In 2016 Girls Inc. of Halton directly served over 750 girls, in 19 schools across Burlington, Milton, Oakville, Halton Hills, Acton and Georgetown.

A live auction, raffle, musical entertainment and more are planned.

Tickets are $100 and are available on the Milton, Oakville and Burlington snapd websites.
