Welcome...Girls Incorporated of Halton needs you!

Girls Incorporated of Halton has a number of opportunities for volunteering. Those interested can volunteer for a day, a month, a year or longer.

Our Volunteer Opporunties Include:

Board of Directors

As a registered chairty, we are governed by a dedicated board of directors who are representative of our community and provide direction for our organization.  Board work involves business planning, policy development, agency governance, and fund development.  Event support, and committee work is also encouraged along with a financial committment to our organization.  The Board meets the 3^rd Wednesday of every month with the exception of July and August.

Assistant to a Group Facilitator

An opportunity to work directly with girls in our program department by assisting out trained facilitators.  Time needed: 1 hour per class.

 

Office Volunteer

Filing, mail-outs, newsletter production, computer skills required.

 

Special Events Committee

An organizational support position for volunteers interested in active participation in one or more of our fund-raising events.

 

Student Volunteer

Opportunities are available for students looking to fulfill their 40 hours of community involvement.
